Mission Possible 2012

Mission Possible 2012 (MP:12) is a five-year initiative that outlines The JOSHUA Foundation's approach to mitigate the impact of poverty amongst vulnerable children and vulnerable households in Masaka, Uganda. The overall goal of MP:12 is to provide access to self sustainability and independence through innovative programs that promotes self-reliance.  JOSHUA's agriculture component The JOSHUA Farm has been the epicenter of MP:12's programming. It is our belief that independence = self sustainability. MP:12's intent is to reach the children and households in most need and enrich their livelihoods. Our theme, "Getting Today's Caretakers Healthy for Tomorrow's Leaders", is built upon the principle of the family being the first line of response; thus, being the essential component for development and growth of every child. Provision outside of the conventional family by community members is the second line of response.
