In an effort to preserve the great institution of family, The JOSHUA Foundation seeks to empower families, who face unusual circumstances because of a poor economic situation, deaths of family members, war, HIV disease or illness, drought, and/or famine. There are uncounted numbers of deserted families and widows currently living in Uganda. The JOSHUA Foundation has collaborated with the Victory Church of Kamuzinda, (a village in Uganda, East Africa). Over 150 homes from 15 nearby villages have been identified as needy and are lacking the basic essentials of life, (i.e., food, water, clothes, medical care, education, and/or shelter). Many of these families consist of widowed mothers, elderly grandparents with multiple grandchildren, disabled parents, or children living on their own.

Let us empower the broken, hurting families of Uganda by helping them to become independent. Sponsoring a family will provide for life's basic necessities and enable them to participate in job skill training programs. It is our goal to help families sustain their independence.
